Emoticon Emoji feelings cards

The 26 Emoticon/feelings cards are an ideal way to help your children to express their feelings or to recognise facial changes and read expressions. By using the ‘emoticons’ which children now understand through texting, social media and other sources, you can make an up to date version of ‘faces’ cards and children feel less conspicuous carrying them around. Print as large cards for home/school use and in a pocket sized version on a wrist twist which easily fit into a pocket or onto a key-ring. These cards are great for discussing how other people feel, exploring body language and facial expressions These are also available to purchase professionally made on a keyring from my Ebay store £4.99 inc delivery. In and out of control game exercise - choices consequences

A great resource to work with children 1:1 or in groups to look at what they can and cannot control in their lives. Opens up discussion around issues and differing opinions - some people may be able to control things that others can’t. Creates empathy and understanding. Can be extended - once children have placed the cards, open up the next stage with ‘What might change when you are an adult’. Will you still need to be respectful? Can you choose where you live? etc This resource has created some great impact and discussion around choice and consequence as well. 50 cards to place on the blank A3 chart (Completed A3 chart as well for classroom wall) and you can add as many as you want to the discussion.
